Comment by Sal on July 8, 2008 at 1:43pm - Libertarian Socialism only appears to be a contradiction in terms to Americans, where "libertarian" is automatically associated with the free marketeer libertines. However, going back to the classic anarchist thinkers of the 19th century, you can see anarchists referring to libertarian movements: and by that, they are obviously referring to anarchists.

Perhaps you should read up on it. There are lots of good works out there on the topic. If you wish, i can suggest to you some. It is mostly a form of collectivist anarchism. Léanlo por favor.

- seems more of a paradox actually, "libertarian-socialist"...j/ gotta think out of the context of how we currently understand political philosophy..of course a name change could help.
