Based on the book "Power vs. Force," my shrink (yes, I have one) believes that we should all work in and toward the positive and attempt to eliminate the negative from our lives. She believes that this will help us all evolve because we will be putting positive and not negative energy into the universe. Well, I have to say that does sound good to me. But it also leaves me with the question of what am I supposed to do and how am I supposed to feel when I hear another news bite about another atrocity committed by our government? This is really a serious philosophical question for me and I'd love to hear from any of you guys on this topic. Does the anger we feel and the injustice we feel only add to the negativity that already exists or can that anger be channeled into something good...maybe even positive. Or are we better off focusing on living positive lives and only adding positive energy to the collective consciousness? I have always been such an activist against Bush, against the war, against the Patriot Act, etc. that I'm not even sure if I'm capable of going all positive. Any thoughts, suggestions, or opinions?
