What can one say about what's happening in the world today, that hasn't already been said.
I have witnessed many changes in my country that have destroyed peoples lives, split communities and devastated the souls of people whom once would be prepared to stand up to authority and question them in a way that would break them down and find out what's really behind their motives and aspirations. Now it seems that they have been corrupted by possessions and the need to protect what they have achieved over the years along with their own families and their offspring. They have been seduced by the "I me, me, mine" culture of buy, spend, buy now pay later attitude that has now become the doctrine of at least two generations. To make a radical change to what I think has become embedded within the Westernised culture, is not a political change it is a personal one; and a change that will not be adhered to or accepted by those who feel they have more to lose than you or I.
I have no perfect solutions to the problem, I have one drastic solution and that is removing all government and exchange it for your own. But you can see the relationship to the present state of affairs in the Middle East within this solution. We become the same idealists and would be as guilty as the present form of Western governments. It is within the individual to oppose and refuse to act out the demands of their leaders. Start within ourself.

I am a man of little wealth, when I have more than I need I find those that need help and do just that. i have an extra bedroom, it has been full since the flood, trying to help other helps maintain the peace of heart in times when outside forces tend to interrupt the constant flow of the spirit.
